This was not a one-time affair, the brand's founders have a history of being homophobic , transphobic , and racist . Considering Chinese buyers now make up 1/3 of luxury retail sales , this is not a good move for Dolce and Gabbana, who have started trending on Chinese social media platform, Weibo.
